Our 3D Printers
Here at NEWbotics Labs we are making use of current FDM (filament deposition modeling) 3D printing technology to create parts for our robotic and drone projects. All of our 3D printers have been acquired by backing Kickstarter campaigns: Cobblebot Little Monster, Cobblebot Vanguard, FLUX Delta, and Tiko. As we receive and get these printers working, we will post photos, build details, reviews, and resources below.Cobblebot Little Monster w/Vanguard Support Upgrade
| Our build log - Coming soon? Our photo gallery build log Our build album on Google Photos Kickstarter Campaign Cobblebot Google+ community (unofficial) The Cobblebot Little Monster was expected to arrive in July of 2015. It was received in early November 2015, but was missing the bearings for the Vanguard Support upgrade. I took the bearings from the Vanguard kit to complete this Little Monster kit build. As of today (January 24th, 2016), I am still waiting for the missing bearings from Cobblebot Inc. I have no doubt I will receive my missing bearings. But if this is any indication of their service (providing some incomplete 3D printer kits), quality (wheel assembly and endstop issues), and customer support (2.5+ months wait for missing parts), then Cobblebot Inc. has some work to do if they want to stay in business and grow as a company. Update: The missing bearings were eventually delivered in the early half of February 2016. Thank you Cobblebot Inc. Update 2: Cobblebot, Inc. appears to be out of business. Their official website and forum are no longer online. |
